COFFINS!

It's coming! Sunday March 7th at 1pm there will be plenty of coffins to be seen. I will post photos of the event, artists and works soon after. Until then here is a detail of one of my paintings.

If I have the motivation to actually commit to a series of drawings, I would like to continue doing evil/zombie toys and teddy bears. If you want to get something like this tattooed please let me know.

Lutis

Color illustration for Lutis. Initially this painting was softer with a background and more of a nickelodeon touch. I wasn't feeling it so I trashed it and started this one. Another lesson of less is more.

I was asked to do book cover for Deb Hoag, author of Crashin' The Real. After reading the book I couldn't help but want to do the cover in a cartoonish way. With inspiration from Alice in Wonderland's cheshire cat, Lutis was created with an extra but of evil. Check back for the final.
